The apartments in this building have access to a ground floor gym with sauna, jacuzzi and communal mezzanine lounge. Apartment Verlaine is fully equipped and decorated to a very high standard on the theme of “Jean Marie Verlaine” a famous French Lyric poet. High ceilings and a wealth of superb period features. On the first floor of La Maison des Poètes, deservedly rated 5 stars, Apartment Verlaine displays memorabilia of Jean Marie Verlaine, the famous French poet. The magnificent open plan living area has the most wonderful architectural features. The grandeur of the high ceilings and stunningly beautiful interior masonry, together with the elegant decor, harmonise to create a haven of refined tranquility. As with all of the apartments in La Maison des Poétes, this is a wonderfully romantic rental for all seasons and can be rented on a daily basis outside of the peak season.

Open plan living area: fitted, well equipped, kitchen to include 4 ring hob, fridge, extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave (washing machine/dryer in the bathroom), seating area with two arm chairs, sofa and a coffee table, dining table with two chairs imaginatively housed, with overhead lighting, in the majestic recess of the original chimney. There is a flat screen satellite TV in this room and a DVD player. An iron and ironing board are provided. In all of the apartments in La Maison des Poètes, the living room is air-conditioned.

The beautifully appointed bedroom, with feature sandstone walls, has a queen size bed which can be separated to give two single beds; wardrobe, cupboard and small writing table and a chair in the window alcove. Bed linen and towels are provided. Period architectural features. The luxury bathroom, delightfully decorated in the provencal style, has a spa bath with a shower screen, a beautiful vanity unit and a wc. A hair dryer is supplied. The washing machine/dryer is in this room.

Spa : Jetsetter spa offers various functions for your relaxation. The bench is equipped with a Moto-massage jet for the back, high precision jets for the neck and shoulders, a Footstream jet for the feet for a complete harmonious rest. Two Jet Cluster systems offer possibility of additional hyrdromassage. Dimensions (cm) : 208x157x74 Moto-Massage® Jet : Automatic movements from bottom to top in a movement as if you were having a manual hand massage. The intensity and mode of the Moto Massage can be adjusted. Precision® Jets : The Precision jets are situated at the top of the Moto Massage. They are conceived to offer a soothing massage of the back and the shoulders. The pressure of the jets can be adjusted. FootStreamT Jet: The footstream is a hydromassage jet with large openings, a special concept to determine a specific part of the body for the massage. It is situated at the inferior part of the spa, hence offering the possibility of a massage of the feet, legs, hips and bottom of the back. The intensity of the jets can be modified.

Sauna and Resting area : A mezzanine converted into a small lounge for resting and reading, decorated with a large mural of a fountain 2m x 2 m.
