The house has been lovingly renovated by its caring owners and tastefully and elegantly furnished to ensure your comfort. Large beamed living room with stone walls, large decorated fireplace (not used), comfortable seating, chess area, library corner, bar, separate TV space with leather sofa, armchairs and satellite TV (some English channels). Dining area with period refectory table and fireplace (can be used), access to large terrace. Modern fitted kitchen with an 250 years old pizza oven (can be used by arrangement ), dishwasher, microwave, and access to small terrace. Luxury bath/shower with hydro-jet massage, WC, washing machine and drier. Stairs to 1st floor Bed 1: king-size 160x200cm. Bed 2: king-size 160x200cm. Bed 3: 2 singles, plus pull-out single. Sep WC. Beautiful big garden with very old walnut trees. Very discreet and friendly owners' property. Set on top of a rise overlooking 2 valleys, in rain or shine the house offers a perfect place to relax with a sundowner or read a book with the panorama spread out below. Superb fenced pool with security immersion alarm (can be heated on request, 100 euros per week, payable locally) 10 x 5 x 1.2-1.75m depth has roman steps and paved sun terrace, with flower borders and neighbouring trees to give shade. Large terrace with comfortable garden furniture, parasol and gas BBQ, wonderful for dining al fresco, and second smaller terrace with stone table and benches, perfect for taking the first coffee of the day. Private pathways within the grounds for daytime and evening strolls and, to keep the children amused, a swing, toboggan run, table tennis and boules in the garden. Football pitch in grounds for clients' use (please bring your own ball!). Unfenced Swimming/fishing Lake 600m from the property. A perfect retreat for a tranquil "away-from-it-all" holiday.

Nearest shops, restaurants, banks, tennis at St-Yrieix-la-Perche or Jumilhac-le-Grand (both 7 km), Jumilhac le Grand with the famous château. The Château is floodlit at night and dinner can be enjoyed in a nearby restaurant overlooking both the lovely fountain and the Château .

Lots of activities on site such as archery and pottery. The owner is a potter. Clients are heartily welcome to have lessons for a small fee. If you enjoy history, you may follow the 'route of Richard Coeur de Lion' around neighbouring towns. Limoges with its famous porcelain factories and golf is 50 min drive and the wonderful very old town Périgueux with its shopping lanes and Byzantine-style cathedral 3/4 hour. International airport Limoges 53 km.
