Chez Lucy Studio - Near Bergerac, Dordogne

A small independent studio part of a larger house, this accommodation has the use of a private pool, shared with the owners, and a large garden

The studio is completely independent of the main house and accessed from an entrance lobby at the rear which leads to the front door. There is private parking and a barbecue area with outside table and chairs. The pool and pool terrace with sun loungers are available for your use as is the large lawned garden at the rear.Sleeps 2.

     

     

  

The Studio has a fold down bed settee, a small dining table and chairs, a wardrobe and a corner kitchen unit with sink, two electric hot plates and small fridge. En suite shower room, wc and wash basin. There is use of the washing machine and clothes drying area in the main house. A television (French) is available on request.

LOCATION

The property is detached in a residential area surrounded by other detached houses in a quiet location within walking distance to the town centre, market, shops and restaurants.

Bergerac and the river Dordogne are a short drive away and there is fishing, walking, cycling and canoeing all within easy reach.

The town of La Force is a provincial market town with an old centre and market place off which you will find local shops and restaurants. Out from the town centre is mainly residential and a little further on is open countryside and forest.

AREA

The Pays de Bergerac provides a wonderful combination of gentle countryside, picturesque towns and villages, fine wine and gourmet food. St Emillion and the many vineyards of the region are a must for those who wish to sample and perhaps take home some very fine wines.
The River Dordogne offers canoeing and boat trips on a traditional flat bottomed Gabare or the simple pleasure of strolling along the banks. The medieval town centre of Bergerac has some fine architecture and charming pavement bars and cafes with a wide choice of places to eat or dine out.
A little further a field are the classic sites of the Dordogne Valley, dramatic cliff top villages, chateaux, caves and pre-historic sites, Domme, Castlenaud and Beynac and the many bastides.

Owner asks that you arrive at the property after 4:00 PM and leave before 10:00 AM.
