The tiny hamlet of Fonbigou, tucked away in a beautiful valley, is about 7 mins drive from Hautefort and is surrounded by undulating countryside.Experience the authentic French way of life while staying in this holiday home on a small working farm. Your hosts will be delighted to help you to improve your French or supply you with farm produce. Lots of space for children to play and roam in with the added interest of the farm animals. The beautiful Lake Coucou at Hautefort offers swimming and fishing as well as a restaurant overlooking the lake. There are well marked rambling trails in all directions from Fonbigou or for the less energetic a choice of a delightful shady garden or a sunny garden with barbecue to relax in. Excellent low cost accommodation for a relaxing holiday or an ideal base for short stay/weekend property hunting trips outside of the high season. Airports are at Bergerac, Limoges and Bordeaux.

The Gite

Bedroom 1and 2: have double beds.  Bedroom 3: has twin beds. The living room with sofa, armchairs, T.V. and a dining table for six steps up into a small well equipped kitchen with a micowave. Shower-room and separate w.c. There is a barbecue and a washing machine.

Low Season: 300 euros per week

High Season: 400 euros per week

If extra heating is required during colder weather there is electric heating available at a small extra weekly cost. Bed linen can be provided at an additional charge of 15 euros per bed.
