Anglo-French couple Adrienne and Patrick offer a warm welcome and a bilingual service so that you can get the most out of your stay in France. There is a choice of five individually decorated bedrooms in this charming house in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The bedrooms sleep one to three people. With a Barbecue in the garden, and a snack preparation area with fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities available to guests this Bed & Breakfast offers every comfort to ensure that you will enjoy excellent accommodation during your stay the beautiful black Perigord region of France.

Served in the spacious dining room with views of the open countryside, breakfast includes specialities from the Périgord region, all home-made on the premises using local produce. 

Les Filolies is set in 2 hectares of parkland. For adventure there are plenty of walking and biking trails. For a relaxing vacation, there is the simple pleasure of taking in the sun by the swimming pool or al fresco dining with the BBQ available to our guests.

The house is ideally situated for your vacation, just 7 kms from the medieval town of Sarlat, ancient capital of the Périgord. Along the Dordogne river are the castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes and Montfort. The pre-historic sites of Les Eyzies are readily accessible. The famous Lascaux Caves are just a short drive away. Sports activities : canoeing, rambling, horse-riding, golf and tennis are all right nearby.

SARLAT

The Dordogne has the greatest number of tourist sites outside of Paris and the famous town of Sarlat is a delightful holiday destination. Surrounded by stunning rural scenery the town has splendid medieval architecture, excellent restaurants and shops and many cultural activities. During the two months of the Sarlat Summer Festival in July and August street entertainers perform on the streets and squares. Market days are every Wednesday and Saturday where you will find an amazing variety of vendors and colourful stalls. The Périgord Noir Music Festival, 26 July to 12 September 2009 where concerts are performed in some of the most beautiful open air venues in the region. From the 9th to 14th November you can rub shoulders with the stars of the cinema during the Sarlat Film festival. You can explore the Dordogne on foot or on a bike, by car or from the sky in a Helicopter, Hot Air Balloon or a Micro light.
